- Vegetables is essential food which consumed by most of the people, therefore one of the vegetables is a cucumber with all of the good beneficial for our body. However, people neccesity with the production of cucumber became a complex problem. The good quality of production and the expense could make prospective commodity for cultivation. The way to expand the production with plant cultivation applying simple technology which is Organic Mulch Paper. Organic Mulch Paper used to adjust the microclimate around plant in order to support the growth. The purpose of this research is discover the impact of Organic Mulch Paper with various composistion of banana stalk and water hyacinth on the growth and result of cucumber on varieties Baby 007 F1 and Elite. This research began on May until August 2018 in Batu, Malang. The design of this research is Randomized Group Design (RAK) factorial with 16 times of treatment, where the factor 1 of 8 times treatment include the control and factor 2 around 2 times treatment which have been done twice already. The treatment will be tested such as M0: operate without using Organic Mulch Paper, M1: Straw Mulch, M3: Banana Stalk : Water Hyacinth (80%:20%), M4: Banana Stalk : Water Hyacinth (60%:40%), M5: Banana Stalk : Water Hyacinth (50%:50%), M6: Banana Stalk : Water Hyacinth (40%:60%), dan M7: Banana Stalk : Water Hyacinth (20%:80%), V1: Varietas Baby 007 F1, V2: Varietas Elite. The result of the research shows if there is no genuine interaction beteween Organic Mulch Paper composition and varieties of the growth with the cucumber in all of the variable surveillance. However, in the anlysis of correlation shows the positive relationship of significant among climate variable with the plant result. The using of mulch shows if the control of microclimate in order to showing the result of cucumber. One of the microclimate which have a position is evaporation and connected with the temperature, light intensity that received or reflected, so the availability of ground water could help the growth and cucumber plants.
