- The high unemployment rate in one of the problems is caused by the lack of work difficulties caused by lack of careers. It is very important for prospective graduates to have career maturity considering that many scholars have not yet gotten a job. Students who lack the possibility of a career will find it difficult to choose the type of work that suits their interests and talents. One of the internal factors affecting career is locus of control. Locus of control Returns people who behave differently (actions) with results or results. This study involved 145 Psychology students of Muhammadiyah University of Malang with incidental data collection techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the locus of control on career maturity in active students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between locus of control and career maturity 4.2% (r2 = 0.042).
