  • Background :Prolanis is a program created by the Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS) that aims to increase physical activity in patients suffering from chronic diseases to provide benefits to improve health and prevent complications. The target of this program is hypertension patients and type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The use of gymnastics can be seen from the number of patients who take part in gymnastics. The activity of gymnastics can be influenced by several factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge factors, family support, and motivation with the activity of hypertensive patients in taking Prolanis exercise. Method :This research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The population amounted to 50 hypertensive patients who then carried out random sampling to 33 people. The instrument used in this study is a modified questionnaire from previous studies and validity and reliability tests have been carried out. Data analysis was done by univariate and bivariate using the Spearman rank correlation test. Result :The results showed that the factors associated with activating prolanis exercise were knowledge (p = 0.011), family support (p = 0,000), and motivation (p = 0.018). Conclusion :Based on the results of the study showed that there is a relationship between the factors of knowledge, family support, and motivation with the activity of hypertensive patients in taking prolanic exercises. This means that the better the patient's knowledge, the better the level of activity. Likewise with family support, the higher the family support, the better the level of activity of patients. Likewise motivation, the higher the patient's motivation, the higher the activity of participating in gymnastics.
