EVALUASI PROGRAM MENTORING UNTUK MAHASISWA BARU DI JURUSAN ILMU KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

- Background: The existence of a long-running mentoring program at the UMM FIKES Nursing Study Program due to the importance of the program, especially for new students, namely the transition from high school / vocational high school students who are new to the world of lectures. To find out the program was successfully carried out or there was no need to evaluate the program for the new students. Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine the success of the mentoring program in terms of the relationship of personal aspects in the mentoring program / Personal Aspect of Mentoring (PAM) and aspects of content in the Mentoring / Content Aspect of Mentoring (CAM) program. Method: The design of this study uses descriptive quantitative. The sample used was 198 new students of UMM FIKES Nursing Science Study Program and that fit the criteria of 100 new students. Data is obtained from collecting the results of questionnaires that have been given to new students with 2 parts of PAM and CAM. Then, the data is calculated as a percentage and average. Results: Of the 100 respondents involved in this study, for part 1 PAM produced the highest percentage data of 61% in the aspect of "My mentor answered questions satisfactorily (for example: timely, clear, comprehensive responses)" and for the average PAM score 24.09 which produced 62 respondents above the average of 100 respondents. Then, for part 2 CAM consists of interests and satisfaction which produces the highest percentage data of 94% and 96% in the aspect of "Guidance Tutorial" and for the average CAM score of 45.00 which produces 71 respondents above the average of 100 respondents. Conclusion: This study shows good results with respondents who get high scores in terms of percentages and an average of 2 parts, namely PAM and CAM, so this mentoring program can continue to be carried out and further developed in accordance with applicable regulations
