- Teacher's work performance will determine whether or not the quality of education, in carrying out work stress tasks can not be avoided, how teachers manage work stress so as to achieve desired job performance, and how self-management plays a role influences the relationship between work stress and work performance. This study aims to look at the effect of work stress on work performance that is moderated by self management, this research method is quantitative determination of subjects using purposive sampling techniques, Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as data analysis. The subjects in this study were elementary honorary teachers in Banda Aceh with 222 subjects from 44 schools in the city of Banda Aceh. The scale used in this study is The new job stress scale to measure work stress, Individual work performance questionnaire (IWPQ), to measure work performance, and Self-Control and Self-Management Scale (SCMS), to measure self-management. The results showed that work stress negatively affected work performance and self-management moderated the negative direction of the relationship between work stress and work performance.
