  • This research was conducted based on the need analysis in the SDN Kauman 2 Malang teachers tend to use the command style model for Physical Education learning. Teacher-centered command-style models that result in less attractive learning that have a low impact on student participation, so it is necessary to develop models based on students and make learning more interesting. The research aims to describe the development of Game Based Inquiry model of locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative elementary motion material models. ADDIE model development was employed in this study which consisted of five steps, namely analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The finding denoted that Game Based Inquiry Model was valid, effective, and interesting to be implemented in the learning process. Moreover, this model was able to create an interesting learning process and enhance student learning motivation. Then, the researcher validates this research toward model expert and expert learning practitioner. The validation result indicated that this model can be tested according to suggestions and comments from experts. It was proved by the results of the model expert validation with 95% and expert learning practitioner with 93%. This Game Based Inquiry Model at SDN Kauman 2 Malang has been said to be very effective, as seen from the results of the test which gets 85%. The use of this model received a very good response which gets 94% student responses. So, it can be said that this Model was interesting to be used in the learning process. Based on the research finding, it is suggested that Game Based Inquiry Model was used for teaching locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative basic movement material to help the students and teachers in achieving learning goals and creating interesting learning.
