- The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of oil palm on the receipt of gross regional domestic product in the regency / city plantation sector in Riau Province in 2011-2017. In this study the data used were all districts / cities in Riau Province, which numbered 10 districts and 2 cities, with data sources from BPS. This test uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of Eviews application. The results of multiple linear regression studies show that the size of the coconut land area and the amount of oil palm production affect the receipt of gross regional domestic product in the plantation sector with R-Square of 0.96 or 96% that the variables in the research model can predict acceptance of gross regional domestic products plantation sector while 13% is influenced by other variables outside the research model.
