- This study aims to determine the application of the mimicry memorization method in learning Arabic for class VIII C students at Muhammadiyah Middle School 1 Malang. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data sources in this study were the principal of Muhammadiyah Middle School 1 Malang, Arabic Language Teacher, Curriculum Teacher, and VIII C grade students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the mimicry memorization method in learning Arabic Language class VIII C students at Muhammadiyah Middle School 1 Malang was imitating and memorizing which was done repeatedly which ultimately gave students a direct and automatic understanding effect. Based on the observations of researchers, in the implementation of learning Arabic in class VIII C is in accordance with existing theories. this can be seen from the procedural implementation of learning itself, namely the teacher asks students to mimic the material spoken by the teacher, students imitate the teacher by reciting it correctly and correctly, the teacher invites students to recite the material and meaning repeatedly up to three times. the application of the mimicry memoryzation method in class VIII C Muhammadiyah 1 Malang Middle School was said to be effective, because the ability to remember and memorize vocabulary increased.
