- Confidence is a form of bravery, faith and an ability owned by a person to confront the future. Lack of confidence in children is caused by the ability of doing the work, speaking skill, economy matter and their intelligent. Psychodrama method can be used in increasing children confidence by emphasizing in self reflection of the past and the future as well. The aim of this research is to know how effective psychodrama is in increasing children’s confidence. This research is an experimental – quasi with pretest-posttest control group design. By using Independent Sample T-test (t = 2.112 & p = 0.049, p < 0,05), shown that there’s a significant difference of children’s confidence within pretest – posttest. The result of Paired Sample T-test in group experiment shown (t = -4.670 & p = 0.001, p < 0,05), there’s a distinction of children’s confidence within pretest – posttest. The result of T-test (t = 3.860 & p = 0.000, p < 0,05), shown that there’s a significant distinction of children’s confidence after given the psychodrama treatment. The result conclusion is psychodrama method is effective to increase the children’s confidence (Study in Rumah Belajar Kakek Aboe).
