PENGARUH BRAIN TRAINING TERHADAP ATENSI PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

- Background: Attention is one of the cognitive aspects that has a role as a filter to get the specific infromation needed. Attention is needed to support students in teaching and learning activities. The peak of attention development is achieved in the adolescence, that is18-22 years. Lumosity is a game which can improve cognitive function. Objective: To determine the effect of Lumosity Brain Training on Attenion of University of Muhammadiyah Malang’s student. Method: Experimental research with a true experimental approach. The sample was 56 people consist of male and female, then divided into intervention and control group. The data was analyzed using t-paired analysis techniques to see the results of the bond and unpaired t group to compare between the bond and control groups Findings and Discussion: The result of bond group’s pre test is 17.3 second and it was accelerate at the post test with result 15.5 second (attention function increase 11%). Control group also has acceleration from pre test 16.5 second became 15.6 second (attention function increase 6%). There was no significant different between bond and control group, because statistic score was 0.602 (<0.05) Conclusion: There was influence of Brain Training bond group attention’s, otherwise there was no significant different of bond group attention’s and control group attention’s
