- Background : The hand is a member of the body that has a very important function to do work. Which is where the work mostly uses hands such as writing, typing, picking, riding a motorbike, manual washing, and so on. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a syndrome arising from the median nerve depressed in a carpal tunnel on the wrist, when the nerve passes through the tunnel f rom the forearm to the hand, which is at high risk of being threatened Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a job that uses many members the body of the hand and wrist repeatedly and over a long period of time. Objective : Knowing the relationship between the working period of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in tea leaf pickers in Malang. Research Methods : The approach used is cross sectional, ie data between independent and dependent variables will be collected at the same time. Respondents in this study were tea picking farmers in Wonosari Lawang, a total sample of 65 respondents who had met the inclusion criteria obtained from purposive sampling. This study uses a CTS questionnaire with risk information if the point is more than 3. Results : The results of the study with the Spearman correlation test using a questionnaire showed the results of statistical analysis by obtaining the value p = 0.000 <α = 0.05 then the results of the data that H1 was accepted, can be interpreted as a relationship between the period of work and the risk of CTS Conclusion : There is a relationship between the working period and the risk of CTS in tea farmers on Wonosari Lawang.
