- The research objective is to describe employee satisfaction, work environment, and employee compensation; analyze the effect of the work environment on employee satisfaction; analyze the effect of compensation on employee satisfaction; analyze the effect of the work environment and compensation on employee satisfaction. The data collection techniques used was questionnaire. The total sample of 90 respondents was taken based on total sampling. The results showed that employee satisfaction was perceived to be high, the work environment and compensation were perceived well; work environment has a positive effect on employee satisfaction; compensation has a positive effect on employee satisfaction; the work environment and compensation have an effect simultaneously on employee satisfaction. It is recommended that management of the Department should improve the layout in the office so that it can affect employee satisfaction.
