PENGARUH PENYULUHAN MAKANAN BERGIZI TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG MAKANAN BERGIZI PADA BALITA DI PUSKESMAS CIPTOMULYO KOTA MALANG

- Background : Healthy food is one type of balanced diet, so that all the nutritional needs for the body are met. Most children consume foods that do not meet the nutritional requirements more often. Unhealthy food is harmful to growth and intelligence of children under five who are affected by malnutrition. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of nutritional food against the knwoledge level about nutritional food for toddler mother in Puskesmas Ciptomulyo City Malang. Metode : This type of research was pre-experimental with the design of one group pretest posttest design. The population of this study was all mothers of toddlers in Pusekesmas Ciptomulyo Kota Malang, totaling 33 mothers. The sample of this study were 33 mothers of children under five with the Total Sampling technique. Independent variables are counseling of nutritional food for toddlers and the dependent variable is the knowledge of mothers of toddlers about nutritional food for toddlers. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test is used to analyze the data. The research instrument uses a questionnaire. Result : The results showed that before nutritional food counseling was carried out, most respondents had less knowledge of 20 respondents. While after conducting nutritional food counseling, most of the respondents had good knowledge of 18 respondents. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical test shows that p value = 0.000 <α (0.05) so that H1 is accepted. Discussion : The conclusion of this study is the influence of nutritional food against the knwoledge level about nutritional food for toddler mother in Puskesmas Ciptomulyo City Malang, for statistically significant knowledge. Suggestions for respondents Expected for mothers of toddlers with this research can be used as a source of nutrition food information for toddlers
