  • Pollinator insects are insect that have a role in pollination of flowering plant, or pollination. Pollination is the term used for sexsual reproduction in flowering plants by transferring pollen to the pistil to the formation of ovaries and seeds. The success of pollination depends on the pollination carried out by pollinator insects to the maximum. The level of pollinator insects diversity contained in an ecosystem will have a major influence on the success of pollination. This research aims to identify and know the diversity of pollinator insects in the apple plantation of Talun Bumiaji area in the flowering phase. This research was conducted in November 2018. This research is descriptive quantitative, data retrieval used the transect method on three different fields of the same size namely 500 m2, plot measuring 20 m2, and plot spacing 30 m2. The data analysis technique used in this research is the person correlation which is to determine the relationship between the diversity of pollinator insects with abiotic factors (temperature, humidity, wind speed, light intensity) in the apple plantation area. The results showed that the level of pollinator insects diversity in the apple plantation Talun Bumiaji area was relatively low, because the value of diversity < 2-3. The pollinator insects species obtained are Lymantria, Allorhynchium, Dioryctria, Phimenes, Calliphora, Hippodamia, Bactrocera, and Delias. There is a significant correlation between the diversity of pollinator insects with abiotic factors with sig > 0.05.
