Daftar Isi:
- The Trembesi tree (S saman. Jacq) belongs to the Faneceae family, with various regional names including rain Ki Hujan (West Java), Kayu Colok and Munggur (Central Java). According to Nuroniah, the Trembesi tree is a fast-growing plant originating from Central America and North America. The Trembesi tree is easily recognized because it has an umbrella-shaped canopy with a canopy diameter greater than its height (Nuroniah and Kosasih 2010). This research was conducted at the scren house departemant in forestry at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The method used in this study is a randomized block design (RBD) factorially composed consisting of two factors, where Factor I: The planting media mixture consists of four levels. Factor II: The dosage of NPK fertilizer consists of three levels, each repeated with 3 replications, so that there are 4.3.3 = 36 experimental units, each trial unit there are 30 plants which are then multiplied by 36 experimental units, so there are 1080 seeds. Observation variables included measuring the height of the seedlings, increasing the number of leaves, measuring the diameter every week, measuring the length of the roots, calculating the wet weight, and calculating the dry weight at the end of the observation. If there is a real effect of the treatment given then a DMRT test is performed to determine differences in seed size and the best treatment application for seedling growth. The composition of the planting media and the dosage of NPK fertilizer are most suitable for increasing the number of leaves, namely soil, sand, husk and 0.3 g, for seedling height, namely soil, manure, husk and 0.2 g, for stem diameter ie soil, sand, manure, and 0.2 g, for root lengths namely soil, sand, compost and 0.2 g, for wet weights ie sand, manure, and 0.2 g, for dry weights ie soil, manure, husks and 0.1 g.
