- Road is a land transportation infrastructure that is very important in facilitating economic relations activities, both between one city and another city, between cities and villages, between one village and another village. One type of pavement is rigid pavement. Rigid pavement is a type of pavement that uses portland cement tie material, reinforced concrete plates which are placed on subgrade with or without a bottom foundation. Most traffic loads are borne by concrete plates. (Tenriajeng, 1999). The greater the load that passes through the road, the road conditions will be quickly damaged. This background requires research that functions to determine the level of damage that exists on rigid pavement surfaces on Jl. Raya Wringinanom, Gresik and the solution. Determine the value using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method.Based on the results of the study the conditions of the rigid pavement road on the Wringinanom Gresik road with a good value of 7.14%; very good value of 50%; perfect value of 42.86%. Viewed from the results of the study found the types of damage that need to be done maintenance and repair, there are 16 types of damage. The higher damage typesis scalling 2,86%, and the lower is faulting :0,51 %.
