- This paper is about the design of a furniture wood crusher that aims to help the community in dealing with the problem of disposal of waste wood remaining pieces that are not possible to dispose of in the Bekasi area. The design method used is the Phal and Beitz method, for the product design phase and product detail phases, Autodesk Inventor Provesional 2016 software is needed to draw and design furniture wood shredder and its components so that images can be obtained from the product. The results of the calculation of this furniture waste wood shredder are as follows for a capacity of 500 kg / hour with a blade length of 110 cm, using ST 37 steel blade material as many as 208 blades while the destruction power required is 7.9 KW.
