- This research analyzed the growth of economic sector, primary sector, un-balance, and convergence between residence / city at Mid-Kalimantan province. The research was descriptive qualitative, which focused its analysis at numerical data which formulated with certain statistic method. The writer was doing observation in data collection at Mid-Kalimantan Province titled Economic growth, primary sectors, unbalance, and convergence between Residence / cities at Mid-Kalimantan. The research aimed to find out the level and economic growth factor between residence / city in Mid-Kalimantan to find the developed primary sector between residence / city in Mid-Kalimantan province and analyzing convergence level between residence / city at Mid-Kalimantan. Analytical tool used in this research was Klassen typology, location quotient (LQ), Williamson index and convergence. The result showed that economic growth in mid-Kalimantan was 4.53 percent. According Klassen typology, there divided into four classifications. They were rapid developed region, fast developed region, pressed developed region, and low developed region. The primary sector analysis concluded that every residences in mid-Kalimantan had primary sector which giving contribution for their own regions. The unbalanced which was happened between region in mid-Kalimantan was large since the average value of Williamson index was 4,44 and this value was far from zero. The absolute convergence was 13,86 percent per year. They needed 13,86 percent growth to reach convergence. According to the analysis, the needs of regional government whether in attention, supervision, and cooperation for further potential and maximum resources to give contribution for the economic growth in each region to create development and growth in Mid-Kalimantan.
