  • Street children are an important problem in Indonesia because the number of years is increasing, most of the street children work in the informal sector. This research aims to protect street children and care for street children in the alang-alang Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative research approach with qualitative descriptive research. In the alang alang studio, there are 21 underprivileged street children and 10 caregivers. Data collection techniques used are interview and documentation techniques, observations where researchers must collect data in full. the results of this study indicate that researchers get the insight that street children are people who are less capable in various causes, namely economic factors, because promiscuity and always commit immoral acts so that in the eyes of the community they are sometimes ostracized and neglected. Therefore, street children are educated in alang-alang studios so that they have dreams that they dream of when they grow up, so that they can live like people in general who are well-off.
