- The changing era which always experience the development from time to time has created various problems in the social lives. The changes cover all aspects of social lives. In this case, the education is the main factor as the effort to solve the problems. But the world of education has faced the big problems. The main problem of world of education recently is the moral problem. It happened moral biases in the world of education for examples, the violence in the social environment, sexual.harrassments, the decrease of moral value to reach high grades, etc. Anticipating this condition, it needs the high level of education, that is character of education. This thesis is intended to solve the problems of 1. How is the effort to develop character building hold at TK PGRI 01 Batu, 2. What are the supporting and constracting factors in the effort of development of character building at TK PGRI 01 Batu. The merhodology of this thesis is qualitative. The type of this thesis is field study, where the data data collection of this thesis is taken directly from the thesis. The technique of data collection uses observation, interview and documentation while the technique of data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of study show that the process of character building of students of TK PGRI 01 Batu has been conducted. The execution of the effort to develop character building of students of TK PGRI 01 Batu is done through rwo ways programmed and not programmed. The supporting programs on the efforts of students character building at TK PGRI 01 Batu includes 1. National program of national movement of character education and 2013 curriculum of kinder garten 2. Foundation and 3. Professional teachers. While the constracring factors include 1. The less positive support from external environment 2. The influence of pattern of modern live and 3. The location of TK PGRI 01 batu at downtown in Batu
