- Democratization in Nepal became a modern world history. Nepal until now is still a country with the world’s youngest republic system. Democratization of Nepal started when the emergence of resistance to the royal rulers which is considered too autocratic and did not pay attention to the welfare of their people. That moments was exploited by the Maoist to overthrow the old-style government and replace it with a democratic republic. Various attempts were made by Maoist in carrying out their agenda to reform the country, some of them attempted by armed rebellion. But, armed rebellion is not the only way to achieve their goals and and their ideals, they were also using soft diplomacy such as peace talks which contained their agenda demands.
