  • Spillway in Logung Dam is planned in the right side of the dam. In every dam construction, water runoff oat the top of the weir should be avoided due to it causes scour and landslides at the downstream of the weir. This is considered danger since it causes collapsed at the dam body. To solve the problem, the construction should always be equipped with an overflow construction. The first stage of this study is to plan an overflow construction based on topographic, hydrologic, and hydraulic considerations. Next, this study analyzes the stability of water barrier reviewed from the stability of rolling, sliding, and soil support. The results of the study showed that the design of the right side of the dam has fulfilled the condition of Q100th, Q1000th, and QPMF. According to calculation, lighthouse dimensions 32 x 3.5 meters. The dimensions of side channel 32 x 10 x 12 meters at the end downstream. The transition channel has the length of 88 meters and the width of 12 meters. After calculation process on launcher channel, pool type II of USBR as energy absorbers with the length and width of 46,44 and 12 meters respectively.
