  • Organic Mulch is one solution of the problem in the use of plastic mulch silver. Organic mulch is made from easily degradable ingredients and can donate nutrients. The increased use of plastic mulch causes soil pollution because plastic materials are difficult to decompose. This research aims to assess the influence of various comparisons of the organic mulch sheet composition against the growth of Horenso (Spinancia oleracea L). The research was conducted from 2018 December to 2019 April at TirtoTaruno Alley 2, Dau Sub District, Malang Regency. The experiment was carried out using a random plan of a simple group (RAK) with 6 treatments and repeated 4 times. The tested treatment includes: M0 = without using mulch, M1 = Hyacinth: Coconut coir (80%: 20%), M2 = water hyacinth: Coconut husk (70%: 30%), M3 = water hyacinth: Coconut coir (60%: 40%), M04 = water hyacinth: Coconut coir (50%: 50%), M5 = hyacinths: coir what Kel (40%: 60 %). The result of research that is changed done that the use of organic mulch based on water hyacinth and coconut fiber in plants horenzo (Spinacia olerace Linnaeaus) Products that the treatment of organic mulch with water hyacinth composition 70%; Coconut Fiber 30% in high variable plants produce the highest value of 23.4cm, the number of leaves produce the highest value of 19 leaf strands, the leaf area produces the highest value of 24.7 cm2, the diameter of the stem produces the highest value 5.98mm, Wet weight of the plant produces the highest value of 10.63gr, the wet weight of the root produces the highest value of 6.32gr.
