- Transportation is a tool that needed to facilitate the process of moving, either people or goods from one place to another by using vehicle aids. Highway is one of the land transportation infrastructure that plays a very important role for economic growth, socio-culture, development of tourism areas, and defense and security to support national development. General Sudirman road was built 2.9 km long with flexible pavement planning using the Bina Marga 2003 method. The purpose of this study is to examine how much the budget is needed to build General Sudirman of Hulu Sungai Selatan road section Sta. 00 + 000 - Sta. 02 + 900 using the method flexible pavement of Bina Marga 2003. This study was carried out firstly by collecting secondary data in the form of land data, average daily traffic volume, road technical data, and standardization of unit prices referring to the provisions of National Standard in South Kalimantan province. Based on the results of calculations, planning for flexible pavement thickness for the Bina Marga 2003 method was obtained 75 mm laston at a cost of Rp. 2,344,650,000 (two billion three hundred forty four million six hundred fifty thousand), 200 mm broken stone class c at a cost of Rp. 2,111,200,000 (two billion one hundred eleven million two hundred thousand), and 160 mm sirtu b class at a cost of Rp. 2.163.980.000. Therefore, the total cost needed is Rp. 8.466.155.000.
