SMAN 2 Namlea is a public high school located in Namlea, Buru district, Maluku Province, which is a "B" accredited high school in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture data located at Jalan No. 1 Namlea Education, Buru Regency. Along with technological advancements coupled with an increase in lifestyle, the process of monitoring student academic values on the current system at Namlea Public High School is done in a conventional way, where students and guardians can only see the results of the student's learning process at the end of the learning period or what is called with the term division of student report cards. To help the school and parents or guardians of students in monitoring the academic value of students of SMAN 2 Namlea, through a web-based application and it is expected that this application can provide information to schools and parents effectively and efficiently related to student academic assessment. The method used in developing the application system is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) with the waterfall process model, with the system being run it is expected to minimize errors that are not needed in making and reporting student grades.
