- The purpose of this study is to describe the picture of the role of the bantengan cultural arts group in preserving the value of mutual cooperation, this research is to find out about, (1) the role of the bantengan cultural arts group in preserving the mutual cooperation value, (2) supporting factors and inhibiting groups bantengan art in preserving the values of mutual assistance, (3) solutions to the bantengan art group in overcoming obstacles that arise in preserving the values of mutual assistance. This research is a type of descriptive research through a qualitative approach. The research strategy used is a case study that uses two types of triangulation, namely data sources and data collection techniques. Data collection techniques by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques using an interactive analysis model that includes; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research and discussion resulted in conclusions, namely (1) Efforts that have been made in preserving the value of mutual assistance by helping one of the residents who have been struck by disaster or who have the interest of this cultural and cultural group collaborate and work together from preparation to completion of the event to help and ease the burden on these citizens, (2) obstacles in preserving the value of mutual cooperation in the community there are still some residents who still have a high attitude of individualism, which is exacerbated by the attitude of ignorance and ignorance among citizens who become obstacles, (3) and get closer to the surrounding community, and hold a forum to deliberate and socialize the importance of preserving the values of mutual cooperation.
