  • At this age, the Soekarno-Hatta road in Malang City already crowded. The two well-known universities offering the performance of the road sections on the Soekarno-Hatta road was increasing. Therefore, Soekarno-Hatta road users need an alternative repair so that the road was not congested. The method used in this study is based on the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The steps to carry out this study are to conduct a traffic survey on the Soekarno-Hatta road, intersection 3 signaling on Soekarno-Hatta Road - Jalan MT. Haryono, - Mayjend Street. Pandjaitan, as well as the unsigned 3 intersections on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta - Bunga Bunga Street. In the existing condition, the Soekarno-Hatta road section at the peak of the morning has a DS of 0.83. For unsignalized intersections, the morning peak hour has a DS of 0.79. For signaling intersections in the north approaching at the DS morning peak at 0.96, at the western approach at the morning peak DS at 0.95, at the east approach at the DS morning peak at 0.92. With a DS that exceeds 0.8, traffic management is needed to obtain optimal road performance. Particularly by installing prohibition signs for heavy vehicles so as not to cross the Soekarno-Hatta road. Also, to add the seconds to the green light on the signal intersection.
