  • This study is focused on describing the teachers' strategies for preventing and stopping young learners misbehavior in English classroom of BEC (Basic English Course) Nganjuk. The research problems were focused on preventing and stopping young learners' misbehavior, the teachers' strategies to solve the young learners' misbehavior and the young learners' response toward the teachers' strategies to solve their misbehavior. The study used descriptive qualitative research design. The research involved the teachers in BEC (Basic English Course), the data were obtained through the observation and interview for the teachers. The result of this study showed that the teachers used three strategies they are creating an effective classroom strategy, creating an environment conductive to learning strategy, aiid making coordination efforts' with others. The young learners' misbchavior were categorized Into (bur kinds. First, the gross motor misbehavior such as getting out of seat, standing up, tapping, their feet, 'clapping their hand, and drumming on desk. Seconds, their misbehavior was categorized as verbalization, such as singing, laughing and talking with others in the class. The third, their misbehavior was orienting, such as they wrote on their notebook to their Friends during teaching and learning process. The last was the aggression misbehavior such as they fought with others and heated each other in the classroom. The teacher applied three strategies to solve to young learners' misbehavior. The first strategy was creating and effective classroom climate. in this case, the teacher gave the student some sense of control with regard to classroom activities. Second strategy was creating an environment which was conductive to learning. In this case, the teacher arranged the classroom setting in an appropriate way so the teachers easily interact to the young learners during learning and teaching process in the classroom. The last strategy was coordination efforts with other related' parties. In this case, the teacher worked cooperatively with the parents in order to give care and love when their children were at home.
