Daftar Isi:
- Sorghum is a plant that can be used as a source of food, fodder and raw materials industries. Sorghum has a pretty good prospects in Indonesia with an average production of sorghum nationally in 2009 ranged from 4000 tons to 6000 tons and an area of 2300 hectares. This research was carried out in an experimental Purutrejo village, sub-district of Purworejo, Pasuruan. This research began in October to January. The materials used in this study i.e. 9 plant sorghum genotypes originating from various regions of East Java (G1 = Pasuruan, G2 = G3 = 1, Lamongan Lamongan 2, G4 = Tuban, G5 = Sampang, Sampang G6 = 1 2, G7 = Tulungagung, Tulungagung, G8 = 1 2, G9 = Jombang), fertilizer cage and inorganic fertilizers (Urea, SP36 and KCL). The tools used in this study include hoes, lempak / sekrop, yells, scales, sprayer, sickle, stationery, tape measure, ruler, vernier caliper, Munsell Plant Tissue Color Book, stationery, analytical balance, digital cameras, plant labels, binders brown, and book data. This research used simple randomized block design (RAK) treatment with 9 genotypes and repeat 3 times. The samples used are 5 plants in a single genotype. The observed variables include high plant, number of leaves, stem diameter, length, leaf width, leaf dry weight, panicle length total pertanaman, total permalai seeds, flowering age, age of harvest, fresh weight of 1000 seeds, dry weight of 1000 permalai seed permalai, the levels of proteins, the rough fiber levels, water content, levels of ash, and fat content. Diversity analyzed data obtained and continued with test BNJ extent 5%. Data analysis using SPSS program version 16 and 17 version of Minitab. Agronomic characters of the nine genotypes (Pasuruan, Lamongan 1, 2 Lamongan, Tuban, Sampang 1, Sampang 2, Tulungagung 1, Tulungagung 2, Jombang) sorghum showed different results. Genotype that has the potential to be developed in the area of Pasuruan with a good quantity and quality, namely genotype Lamongan 2 based on the results of its productivity on the dry weights of the variables seed per panicle and genotype 1 based on the results of the Sampang high protein levels.
