  • This study aimed to describe and analyze the influence of motivation and compensation to performance and to analyze the variables that most influence on performance. This type of research is explanatory with the technique of interview and questionnaire data collection. The technique of taking the respondents use the census with the number of 35 respondents employees of the loans and deposits At Work Unit branch office of Bank Rakyat Indonesia East Sumba. The analytical tool used Range Scale and Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that work motivation, compensation, and performance of the average employee in the category enough. Compensation and motivation positive and significant effect on employee performance. Most bepengaruh compensation to employee performance.Based on research, the advice that can be given is: work unit leader should create a harmonious and feksibel suasasan by way talks a problems when break time work hours employee so intertwined intimate atmosphere. In addition to the work unit leader encourages employees to develop new ways of working cash to support the work. Companies need to provide compensation in the form of salary and incentives based on criteria busy working unit with a high workload balanced with work units with standard workload.
