- Each development project activity in the initial planning stage has been determined how the process, steps, materials, human resources, tools used, costs, and the duration of the development plan. In the implementation, not all activities run according to plan, there are technical or non-technical problems and external disruptions that cause the project to not run according to duration. Then it is need a method to solve problems to make activities run according by plan or reduce the problems that ensue. Then in this research the Time Cost Trade Off method is used to determine the optimal time duration when the activity carried out goes backwards from the planned activity duration. The Probolinggo East Toll Gate construction project which is run into delays is then analyzed using the Time Cost Trade Off method. The result is an ideal time to complete all work within 141 days with a 21 day delay from the time of completion which has been given by Work Orer (SPK) for 120 days.
