  • The problem of Stunting (short child) is one of the nutritional problems faced by many countries, especially in poor and developing countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional status and height status of children suffering from Stunting in Tamanharjo Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. The method in this study is a survey method with an analytical method in the form of descriptive analysis. The sample of this study were Stunting children found in Tamanharjo Village, Singosari Subdistrict, Malang Regency, which were as many as 15 children. The study was conducted in July 2019 for 7 days in Tamanharjo Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. The results showed that Nutritional Status or body weight adjusted for age (BB / U) in 15 children suffering from Stunting in Tamanharjo Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency as many as 1 person (6.7%) included in Malnutrition, 9 people (9 60.0%) included in under-nutrition, 5 people (33.3%) including good nutrition and no children suffering from Stunting with more nutritional status. Furthermore Status of Height or height adjusted for age (TB / U) in 15 children suffering from Stunting in Tamanharjo Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency as many as 8 (53.3%) included in the Very Short category, 7 people (46 , 7%) are in the Short category and there are no children who suffer from Stunting with normal height status. Therefore, from this study, it can be seen that socialization is needed regarding prevention and handling of Stunting cases for parents, especially housewives, to be able to detect symptoms of Stunting from an early age.
