Daftar Isi:
- Post landslide area management in Banaran Village Pulung District Ponorogo Regency requires proper vegetation succession. However, plant data that are able to adapt in this area has not been reported. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of physical and chemical conditions, vegetation diversity, and types of vegetation succession. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive, using transect lines with multilevel plots. Sample data in the form of various types of plants that obtained from three stations; the middle, edge, and outer landslides affected. Analysis of vegetation diversity data using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, environmental conditions using parameters of temperature, light intensity, humidity, wind speed, pH, and organic carbon, and the type of succession with unstructured interviews. The results showed that environmental conditions in the post-landslide area can still support the growth of some vegetation. The highest vegetation diversity is at the seedling level which acts as a pioneer plant. The type of succession of vegetation there is primary and progressive succession with facilitation succession models. From the results of the study it can be concluded, the environmental conditions support the growth of pioneer plants that started the succession process, and can be utilized as a source of learning biology.
