  • Macrofauna are soil animals that have sizes more than 2 mm. The existences of soil macrofauna highly depend on the availability of energy and food sources to sustain their lives, such as organic substances and living biomass which are all related to the flow of carbon cycles in the soil. This study aimed to determine the diversity of soil macrofauna and their evenness in Water Guava plantation, Lamongan. The type of this research was descriptive with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted for 6 days with hand sorting method by using 4 stations. The data analysis technique used was Shannon Winner Diversity Index Calculation analysis. The results showed that there were 2 stations that had high diversity index and 2 stations had low diversity index. The Macrofauna found were 8 classes with 12 orders and classified into 14 families, 16 genus and 16 species. Those types were Componotus tavlori, Odontoponera sp, Paederus litorarius, Ophonus sp, Blattella germania, Gryllus sp, Atractomorpha sp, Thelyphonus sp, Rabidosa santrita, Bradybaena sp, Geophillus flavus, Olibrinus sp, Megascolex sp, Vaginula sp, Narceus americanus. Evenness index results or E obtained that at station 1 was 0.74, at station 2 was 0.69, at station 3 was 0.61, and at station 4 was 0.78.
