- UD. Bintang Shaila is a company engaged in the manufacture of mattresses and pillows. In production activities, there are various types of damage to production machines. The purpose of this research was to analyze the planning of maintenance on kapuk grinding machines at UD. Bintang Shaila. The data analysis technique used is the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method. The result of implementation RCM method is obtained when the task changes are significant, namely 3 Time Directed (TD), Directed 3 Condition (CD). The results of this research are used as input and the company can determine the policy for determining engine maintenance appropriately. The research results are Grinding Machine with data in from January 2016 until December 2016. This calculation process using RCM steps it is known that the repair schedule can be carried out according to the engine workload that is.
