- The purpose of this study is to describe the financial performance of Chemical company using Du Pont system analysis during 2016-2018. The research methodology used is descriptive methodology, the data source used is secondary data with documentation data collection techniques. Du pont system analysis is used to determine the effectiveness of the company in managing its assets from sales and efficiency in managing its business to generate profits. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the financial performance of chemical sector companies for three years calculated using the Du Pont system analysis is generally not good because the net profit margin value, total asset turnover and return on investment are below the industry standard. Which has the highest ROI value is PT. Emdeki Utama, Tbk by 12% while the company that has the lowest ROI value is PT. Aneka Gas Industri, Tbk by 1%
