  • Orchids is one of the ornamental plants are much demanded by the community from a various circle. One of the most popular orchids is Dendrobium, because this species growth is faster than other types of orchids, having the unique flower and durable. Increase in the number of interested people not followed by an increase in the number of production. The crucial problem that inhibit the production of orchids planlet growth is long. The addition of cassava pulp in culture media is expected to expedite the growth planlet. It was because the content carbohydrate and vitamin B1 (thiamine) in cassava are pointed out a role in improving growth planlet orchids. The purpose of this research is to find the influence of various concentration of cassava pulp on Vacin and Went media on the growth of Dendrobium nindii orchid planlet by in vitro to be used as a source of studying the biological. The kind used in this research is the True Experiment, with research design is The posttest-Only Control Group. The concentration of pulp raw cassava used are 0%, 4%, 4,5%, 5%, 5,5%, and 6%. The result of this research showed there an effect the addition of cassava pulp on Vacin and Went media on the growth Dendrobium nindii orchid planlet by in vitro for the parameter the number of the planlet roots, and not effective for parameter planlet high, the number of planlet leaves, and the planlet heavy wetness. The concentration of cassava pulp 5,5% most influential optimum on the growth of planlet for the parameter the number of the planlet roots, and not effect for parameter planlet high, the number of planlet leaves, and the planlet heavy wetness. Based on the data theoretical, the result of this research can be used as a source of studying the biological.
