- Thematic learning media development on school SDN Purutrejo 01 city of Pasuruan is still minimal so the need for media development efforts on thematic learning innovative, interesting, and relevant to the needs of students in the school. This research developed the learning media for thematic with the aim of facilitating the students in learning theme 5 subtema 1 with learning 1 to use media Ring Spinning Board Batik on the learning process in schools in order to improve the the spirit of student learning and reduce boredom at the time of learning. This research uses of data analysis by means of qualitative data analysis and analysis of quantitative data and the type of research conducted using the R&D model with the Borg and Gall. With the selected data source from the grade II SDN Purutrejo 01 city of Pasuruan 2018/2019 school year number of students with 24 students. This research was carried out in March 2019 with 2 times. The results showed that the response of the students against the use of the media learning batik rotating ring of the Board as a whole get a score of 99.5% 398 with a percentage of that goes on the criteria with the description very well. Based on a percentage of the value of the student's response to this question form, it can be said that the application of the learning media spinning rim boards batik work, and can be accepted by the grade 2 students in SDN 01 Pasuruan. Purutrejo. So it can be inferred that the media learning that has been developed it is the media that is beneficial to students as well as add insight into students in learning. The results of this research, media Ring Spinning Board is recommended for use as the Batik one option particularly learning media on learning, thematic, and used as a reference in developing media for learning supports the success of learning.
