  • PT. Fajar Putra Plasindo is a company in the field of pallet production. Production scheduling applied by PT. Fajar Putra Plasindo is the First Come First Serve (FCFS) rule. In this rule, jobs that come first will be processed first. With FCFS rules, it certainly isn't profitable for jobs that only have a short processing time. Because this job will actually wait longer before being processed. One effort that can be done to minimize the makespan is to make an effective scheduling. The method used in this study is Hybrid Ant Lion Optimization (HALO). The scheduling method of the company produces a makespan of 11214 minutes or 186.9 hours, while the scheduling generated using the HALO method makespan of 11110 minutes or 185.2. The difference between the two methods is 104 minutes or 1 hours.
