  • The background of this research problem is that SDN Bareng 3, which has a superior vision in achievement, has a noble, honest, disciplined, religious and polite attitude and is environmentally friendly, has supported to minimize irregularities in the use of gadgets. However, there were still some students who were indicated as being exposed to negative gadgets. Like playing online games to neglect schoolwork, copying the netizen's impolite speaking style, and playing gadgets during lessons. The formulation of the problem in this thesis is about how to use gadgets on students, how to use gadgets on students and how to use Islamic Religious Education teachers in tackling the problem of using gadgets on students. The purpose of this study was to study the positive and negative effects of using gadgets on students and find Islamic religious education teachers in tackling the negative thinking of using gadgets on students. This research is a type of research. Data collection is done by interview, arrangement and observation. Data analysis by collecting all data for analysis, reducing data, presenting data then drawing conclusions and verifying data. Validity data testing is done by triangulation, namely source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the study: (1) The use of gadgets on students who have a positive influence: it is easier to do assignments and communicate with finances about school transfers. Negatively related to the use of free gadgets: neglectful of schoolwork, easily satisfied, said rude and anti-social. (2) Efforts made by PAI teachers are giving direction to children and parents, making arrangements to provide penalties for students who violate.
