- Good forest management will have an impact on the economic and ecological conditions of the communities surrounding the forest. Pine sap has a high economic value as a superior commodity is expected to be able to support the increase in the economic value of the community, while elephant grass is one of the types of grass that is a source of forage, the more the number of livestock population, the forage needs are increasing. Based on the description above, this study aims to determine the utilization of pine sap and elephant grass carried out by the people of Pandesari Village BKPH Pujon Malang KPH as well as to calculate the effect of potential pine sap and elephant grass on the income of Pandesari Village BKPH Pujon Malang KPH. This research was conducted for one month in February 2019 in Pandesari Village BKPH Pujon KPH Malang. The method used in this research is quantitative with data collection methods with survey, observation and interview techniques. Then the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive quantitative followed by BC Ratio analysis. Based on data from the results of this study indicate that Pandesari Village community has a dependency of life in the forest through the use of pine resin and elephant grass. The results of the utilization of pine sap have a high enough selling value so that it can improve the economy and can increase the income of the Pandesari Village Community. A set of grass is used as animal feed and helps reduce public expenditure. Utilization of non-timber forest products to community income can be known by calculating a Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) of value = 1 from respondents who have BCR = 1.
