Daftar Isi:
- Sugar cane (Saccaharum Officinarum L) is a plantation commodity where this commodity can produce sugar. Based on data from the Indonesian Sugar Plantation Research Center (P3GI). Currently, domestic sugar is competing with refined sugar or imported sugar to overcome this problem, the government issued a new policy, namely by conducting a ratoon unloading acceleration program. Unloading ratoon is an effort of farmers in increasing the yield level by rejuvenating sugar cane by clearing land so that new varieties can be planted better, so that it can reduce the existence of farmers who do the keprasan system which is done 3-4 times or more. The objectives of this study are: (1). To analyze the cost of production, revenue and income of ratoon unloading farmers and farmers of kepras, (2). To analyze the factors that affect sugarcane farmers in loading ratoon. The sampling method uses a census with 50 sugar cane farmers as respondents. This study uses the cost of income analysis and factor analysis. The results showed that the difference in income from ratoon unloading farmers and smallholders was Rp (6,385,419.57) with the income of unloading farmers amounting to Rp 6,002,926.83 and the total cost of Rp 10,045,047.70 while the income of keprasan farmers was Rp 8,091,616.44 and a total cost of Rp 4,143,318.63. Where the most dominant factor influencing the decision of farmers to unload ratoon is economic factors that include capital and ratoon unloading costs.
