  • The need for hight nutritious food is increasing along with the increasing public awareness of the importance of food for health. One type of vegetable that has hight nutrition is okra. The okra plant used for vegetables and has high nutrition lies in the fruit, in every 100 g of okra fruit contains 33 calories, 7 g carbohydrates, 3.2 g fiber, and 81 mg calcium (Lim et al, 2015). The availability of okra in Indonesia is still limited and needs to be increased. In terms of increasing production of okra plants can be done through fertilization.This study aims to determine the effect of NPK pearl fertilizer dose and chicken manure dosage on the growth and yield of green okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.). The study was conducted from January to May 2019 which took place at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Pendem Village, Batu City. The design of this experiment used Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of two factors. Where the first factor is the dose of pearl NPK fertilizer (N), namely (N0) dose of 0 kg / ha (without the provision of pearl NPK fertilizer), (N1) dose of 400 kg / ha (2.04 g / polybag), (N2) dose 800 kg / ha (4.08 g / polybag), (N3) dose 1200 / ha (6.11 g / polybag). The second factor is the dose of chicken manure (K) that is (K0) dose of 0 tons / ha (without the provision of chicken manure), (K1) dose of 10 tons / ha (50.9 g / polybag), (K2) dose of 20 tons / ha (101.8 g / polybag), (K3) dose of 30 tons / ha (152.7 gr / polybag). Consisting of 16 treatments which were repeated 3 times so that there were 48 experimental units. Observation variables consisted of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of branches, leaf area, number of flowers, fruit length, fruit weight, fruit diameter and number of fruits. The results showed that the combination treatment of pearl NPK fertilizer doses and chicken manure doses showed very real interactions with the growth of okra plants which included variable plant height 70 HST and leaf area. The treatment of pearl NPK fertilizer dosages did not affect the growth and yield of okra plants. The treatment of chicken manure doses generally affects the growth and yield of okra plants. The K1 treatment (10 tons / ha of chicken manure) shows more effective results
