- This study aims to find out (1) determine the role of the kuda lumping art group in instilling the value of mutual cooperation in Harjokuncaran Village Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency, (2) inhibiting factorsthe kuda lumping art group in instilling the value of mutual cooperation (3) solutions to overcome the obstacles experienced. Data collection is carried out by researchers directly through observation, documenting things related to research and in-depth interviews with informants. Analyzing data is done qualitatively which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion or data verification.The results of this study indicate (1) the role of the kuda lumping art group in instilling the value of mutual cooperation through two ways, namely directing and direct involvement, namely giving announcements or appeals for voluntary work or mutual assistance during performances and inviting voluntary work when approaching independence day, (2) there are two inhibiting factors, namely an internal barrier in the form of funds and equipment, an obstacle from the outside in the form of groups that consider worshiping Satan, (3) The solutions to overcome the obstacles experienced by staying focused are to instill the value of mutual cooperation, especially in the younger generation.
