- The background of the research was based on the majority of the Srimulyo Village community as a coffee farmer and the existence of social development in the community of coffee farmers. Coffee commodities become superior products that are cultivated up to production to marketing the impact of the current trend of coffee commodities as a product that is loved by all people, especially adults and the impact that occurred in Srimulyo Village is the coffee trend when people experience social change seen from economic characteristics , social structure (education), technology (technology adoption), sausage phenomena (land ownership, social norms, social interactions, behavior patterns). The purpose of this study is: To find out social change seen from various social aspects in Srimulyo Village. Knowing the impact of social change in the community in Srimulyo Village. This research was conducted in Srimulyo Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency. The method used by determining key informants was 16 people who knew about coffee development and social development in the community. The data analysis method used is using descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. This research is a study that explains in a sentence from several key informants obtained by this study assessing the nature of the visible conditions.. the result of this research from komponensial analysis and triangulation data indicate that the social changes the farmers coffee in the srimulyo village social changes the farmers coffee that occured in, social interaction pattern of behavior on the social norm, focuses on the development of modern society and loss of the nature of rural communities.
