- Communication is a process of delivering messages to others which is done directly or indirectly. Indirect communication can be done with the help of a communication medium, one of which is Instagram. Instagram is considered as an effective promotional media, one of which is the @Kampung_Warna_Warni instragram account which is managed with the aim of providing the latest information because Instagram is considered to be an effective platform for disseminating tourism information. This type of research is a quantitative survey method, with research subjects being the visitors of Jodipan Tourism Village selected based on the Total Sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation, and data were analyzed using simple linear regression techniques. Data is also tested using the T-test and the coefficient of determination (R2) test. From the analysis test results in this study, the regression equation Y = 18.210 + 0.697X with a T-value of 7.318> 1.681 T-table and the value of sig. 0,000> 0.05, which means H0 is rejected Ha is accepted so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between variable X and Y. As well as getting the results of the coefficient of determination test (R2) of 0.555 which means that the effect of variable X on variable Y is 55.5% while the remaining 44.5% is influenced by other variablesnot examined.
