- This study anis to describe and analize the effect of compensations and motivation on performance and find out which variables are most influential on the performance of employe in thr production section of the wardrobe in the sutojayan blitar furniture industry. The responden retrieval technique uses a census with a total of 38 respondent of production departement employees in the cupboard furniture industry. The analysis tool used is scale range multiple linier regression. The results of the study show that compensation, work motivation and average employee performance in thr category are sufficient. Compensation and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this means that compensation is getting better and the work motivation is getting higher, the employee’s performance will be high. Compensation has the most influence on employee performance, advice for futher researchers is to develop research with other variables beyond compensation and work motivation because the results of the study indicate that compensation and work motivation because the result of the study indicate that compensation and work motivation can explain the performance pf only 76,5% and 23,5% explained by other variables Keywords: Compensation, Work Motivation, Employee Performance.
