- Labor absorption is one of the contributing factors of economic development conducted by developing countries with the aim to create equitable economic development. Factors affecting labor absorption consist of inflation, Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP), and minimum wage. Objectives for this study to know and analyze the influence of inflation, GDRP, and the minimum wage on the absorption of manpower in 3 districts of industrial areas in East Java. The data analysis used in this research is the data regression panel. The results of this research show that together-the same GDRP and minimum wage affect the absorption of manpower in 3 districts of industrial areas in East Java, with a probability value of 0.0000. While individually inflation affects negative and insignificant against the absorption of labor with a coefficient value of-0.019899 and probability value 0.3581. The GDRP has a positive and significant effect on the labor absorption with a coefficient value of 0.377175 and a probability value of 0.0000. The minimum wage has a negative and significant effect on the labor absorption with a coefficient value of-0.291439 and a probability value of 0.0130.
