  • The research aims to analyse the level of Community financial literacy in prosperous and II families based on the factors of job type, income, and education in Wagir subdistrict, Malang district. The population in research was 8,832 farmers in the district Wagir. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling through a Slovin formula with a total of 100 respondents. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and tabulation or tabularis technique. The results showed that the level of financial literacy of farmers in prosperous family I is still relatively low compared to the family of prosperous II seen from the factors of job type, level of education, and income. The prosperous family I have a low financial literacy rate on the type of work, income, and education level of the comparative family of prosperous II that has a level of financial literacy is moderate or good enough. Through side work, they are indirectly able to manage finances and improve financial behavior through considerable information related to products and financial institutions through co-workers and the environment. The higher the level of education, the higher the financial literacy of a person., it is due to more contact during learning programs through financial and economic subjects that have a positive influence on the practice of Financial behavior and improvement of the day. The higher the income level will affect the individual's financial behavior through the provision of some income to invest, save, or prepare pension funds.
