- films currently have various genres. One of the comedy genre films, Comedy Film in Indonesia is not spared by the presence of the trio of Warkop along with 34 previous comedy films. Because of the success of the previous film, Warkop DKI's film was adapted again in 2016. The delivery of messages or humor carried out in comedy films always uses comedy techniques. By using the theory of humor techniques proposed by Arthur Asa Berger, namely 4 categories with 45 sub categories The aim of this research is to find out what humor techniques often appear in the film Warkop Dki Reborn Jangkrik Boss! Part 1, what percentage of humor techniques appear in the film Warkop DKI Reborn Jangkrik Boss! Part 1 The research method used is quantitative content analysis with descriptive type and frequency distribution techniques with coding systems that become data analysis techniques. While the Analysis Unit in this study is a shoot that conveys humor techniques in the movie Warkop Dki reborn Jangkrik Boss! Part 1 The results frequency of appearance of humor techniques most commonly used in films is the language category with a percentage of 38.96% with a total of 166 shoots. The most commonly used dimension is the Insult humor technique, which shows that the film Warkop DKI Reborn Jangkrik Boss! Part 1 still uses a lot of humiliating or disparaging humor techniques to create humor. The meaning of the result also shows that Indonesian people are still unfamiliar with sarcasm
